We contracted Ben Maclean to construct a new extension to our house at 80 Gladstone Road, Broadstairs between October 2014 and January 2015. This involved arranging for the demolition of a conservatory and two outhouses, digging foundations and constructing a timber-framed building to join onto our existing kitchen, which also had to be significantly adjusted internally. In addition to this, exterior support walls had to be opened up with steels to support.
We are absolutely delighted with the outcome of Ben's work. The work was so precisely accurate that our very experienced kitchen fitter said he had never before worked on a new building that had so exactly matched the original design. Throughout the process Ben, and any sub-contractor he used was entirely co-operative, efficient and open to alterations and opportunities to save money as well as being very friendly and an absolute pleasure to work with. He even managed to do all this in the immediate vicinity of three small children, with whom he always strove to get along.
We recommend Ben without any reservation whatsoever and remain hugely impressed with the quality of his work and the value for money he gave us.

Having employed Ben Maclean of Broadstairs Builders at our previous house, when we embarked on refurbishing our new property, we were in the enviable position of knowing that he is a skilled and trustworthy builder who we would feel comfortable have working in our home. We were not wrong. Over the past year he has been responsible for the redevelopment and updating of our new house.
This has included the refurbishment of two bathrooms, a walk in wardrobe and creating a utility area and building a new staircase banister rail. It also involved the construction of an extension forming a new 12 metre wing. He has achieved this splendidly; even matching the new roof to run seamlessly from the existing reclaimed Kent peg tile roof.
He has remained positive, innovative and very helpful as our plans have morphed over time. Where Ben has brought in other specialist trades, they have all been excellent in terms of their standard of work and reliability.

I have used the services of Turn-Key Builders on a number of occasions over the past few years and have always been totally happy with results achieved.
